Our goal is to create a complete, comprehensive resource -- we want to enter every relevant business offering Ohio-based green products and services. We welcome suggestions.

If you know of any company or organization offering Green products or services not currently in the directory, please let us know.

In particular we're currently on a quest to find manufacturers who are producing green products, using recycled materials in their products even if the products aren't 100% "green", or even using environmentally benign manufacturing processes. We have a good starter list of Food Co-ops and Farmer's Markets, but if you know of one not listed, please send us their web address or contact information or whatever you have. Ditto any other organization that fits our categories. We'll do the follow-up.

We reserve the right to reject entries that we judge to be inappropriate for our directory. Our focus, first, is on Ohio-based products and services. Secondarily we have entries that bring green products and services into Ohio via a business based in Ohio. There is a fine line between those organizations and companies which we are not presently including in the directory such as home-distribution-based businesses for vitamins/supplements, make-up/personal hygiene products or cleaning products. If those products are manufactured in Ohio they will be included. (We have nothing against those products but we feel that while they may satisfy a Green requirement, they won't satisfy our BUY OHIO/BUY LOCAL focus.)

We may also revise or shorten descriptions if needed.
